I need your input on a contest I am putting together! Whether or not you would be willing to enter it.
I'm thinking about doing something big for our one year birthday which is coming up on Halloween! If you aren't subscribed to my twitter account you would've missed it but I tweeted a photo of a "I run with wolves" tote bag that was signed by Kiowa, Chaske, Bronson, Alex & Booboo! I'm thinking about giving that away for our one year birthday.
But here's where things might turn people off.
I'm thinking about doing it as more of a raffle rather than a contest. If you are a Ki-Hard you get an extra raffle ticket but you must donate in order to get your name in the drawing at all. I was thinking for every $5 someone donates they're name will get entered twice (with a third time if you are currently a Ki-Hard member). Half the donations will go to either "Be The Shift" or "Bullets For Peace" two charities I know Kiowa supports. The other half will go towards the site in maintaining it as well as going towards me purchasing new things to give away or pay for the shipping to send off for autographs from Kiowa. (None of the money is actually going to go towards me, per say...its all really going to back to the site and the fans!)
What do you all think about something like that? I've spent probably over $100 in the past year to get items to give away as well as the $120 it cost me to run the site for the first year...I can't really afford to constantly do that, you know? But I love giving things away, especially to the fans who probably might never get the chance on meeting him! I want to use all my opportunites of meeting him and giving someone else something from it, you know?
Any type of feedback would be appreciated!
